Dear colleagues,
On behalf of all American Eurasian Cancer Alliance partners, I would like to extend deep gratitude to Kazakhstan healthcare leadership for organizing such a truly extraordinary event. Jointly with the International Society of Gynecologic Cancer, Kazakh Institute of Oncology and Radiology, and Kazakhstan Cancer Society we welcome everyone to participate — both in person in Almaty and through online sessions — in a robust gynecological oncology event program that unites participants from more than 20 countries. Representatives hail from regional research organizations, leading clinical cancer facilities, and public health organizations across North American, European, and Asian continents.
We have developed unique content for the Eurasian Summit to discuss the most prevalent gynecological cancers, including cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and uterine sarcoma, as well as rare gynecological tumors. Presentations and didactic workshops will discuss the latest innovations and best practices in diagnosis, screening, and treatment protocols. A focused Eurasian session will assemble leaders representing Central Asia, the Caucasus region, and Eastern Europe to present latest updates in gynecologic oncology programs for their respective countries.
This event will be particularly impactful because its scope extends beyond opportunities for research, education, and clinical care — also discussing successful international and regional policy efforts that continue to move the needle toward improved cancer care and health outcomes. A roundtable session focused on cervical cancer and palliative care will include the exchange of ideas among representatives from the following organizations: American Eurasian Cancer Alliance, European Society of Medical Oncology, International Agency of Cancer Research, International Gynecologic Cancer Society, United Nations Population Fund, World Health Organization, and Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance.
We look forward to engaging in collaborative discussion with researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world in what is anticipated to be one of the premier gynecological oncology events of the year. Together we can ensure women around the world have access to the most innovative cancer control approaches, ultimately reducing the global burden of gynecologic cancers.

Dear Colleagues and Friends
It is with great pleasure that the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) is included in this very important Eurasian Summit in Kazakhstan. IGCS and the partner members in the region have been engaged in a strategic alliance partnership for over six years. These countries are progressive in the care and treatment of gynecologic cancers but are not without their challenges. Our partnerships only strengthen the education and care for women with gynecologic cancer.
Congratulations to Professor Dilyara Kaidarova, IGCS Board Member, who along with her team has put together an outstanding few days of gynecologic oncology sessions that are multidisciplinary in nature. Thank you to Sophia Michaelson, Executive Director, American Eurasian Cancer Alliance, who continues to be so instrumental in making this partnership flourish and sustainable.
On behalf of the IGCS leadership we express our gratitude to all the IGCS members participating and contributing to this Summit whether it be in person or virtually. Giving of your time is essential to the success of the IGCS.
We look forward to meeting many of you in Almaty, reengaging with old friends and making new friends who all are aligned with IGCS and the region in the commitment day in and day out to advance the treatment of gynecologic cancer. Our partnership is making a difference in the lives of women afflicted with gynecologic cancer.
Sincerely,
Keiichi Fujiwara, MD PhD IGCS President
